Programming Lewis Carroll's Memoria Technica (ztoz.blog)
vunderba 1 days ago [-]
I had to read the couplet-based cipher algorithm a few times, and this is supposed to make remembering a series of numbers EASIER???

A far more practical system is something like PAO which lets you compress 6 digits into a single image. These images can then be "virtually placed" within a memory palace. I've used it as a fun parlor trick to quickly memorize a random 50 digit number backwards and forwards.
